James Adams

CRAB ORCHARD - James Milton Adams, 71, of Hwy. 618, died Thursday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington.

Born March 19, 1933, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Elmer and Isabelle Gibbons Adams. He was the widower of Janet Fay Brummett Adams. He was a retired employee of National Casket Factory and Tecumseh of Somerset. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Bryant of Brodhead; two sons, Roger and Kenny Adams, both of Crab Orchard; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Services are 2 p.m. today at McKnight Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tom, Everett, Charles, Wendell and Tommy Adams and Cecil Gibbons.

Visitation is after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home.
