CRAB ORCHARD - Services for Nellie McClure Benge, 86, of Ky. 39 South, will be 2 p.m. Friday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Ernie Arnold. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.  She died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital.
 

Born May 28, 1913, in Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of William Green and Mattie Harper McClure. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She was the widow of Homer Edward Benge.

Survivors include a son, Danny Benge of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Glenda Ferrell of Crab Orchard and Jeannie Smith of Brodhead; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Harold, Virgil and Marvin Benge.
Pallbearers will be Jay Smith, Keith Benge, Greg Benge, Billy Cummins, Darrell Benge and Lary McWhorter. Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home.
