Jeanette Brooks, 79, of Brodhead, died Wednesday at Rockcastle County Hospital.
Born Jan. 29, 1919, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Henry H. and Rose Brown Mink.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Church of Christ. Survivors include a son,
Carl A. Brooks of Boca Raton, Fla.; a daughter, Wilma J. Steuckrath of Austin,
Texas; a brother, Rufus Mink of Milford, Ohio; two sisters, Thelma Rogers of
Somerset, and Elizabeth Gabbard of Knoxville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Eddie Arnold. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. |
