Mrs. Rhoda
Brown, 90 of Sigmon St. Mt. Vernon, Ky. died Sunday June 29, 2003 at the
Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead, Ky. She was
born on May 27, 1913 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late
Campbell and Nancy Wynn Gibbons. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and
gardening and attended the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are:
Two sons; Everett E. Brown of Millington, Tenn. and Robert L. Brown of
Salem, Ind. Two daughters; Mrs. Amelia Furmon of Mt. Vernon and Mrs.
Audrey Furmon of Richmond, Ind. Thirteen grandchildren several great
grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren also survive. She
was preceded in death by her husband; Herbert Brown and by one son;
Sidney Grant Brown.
