Mrs. Shirley Chrisman age 88, of 95 Newcomb Ave. Mt. Vernon died Saturday May 10, 2003 at the Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead. She was born on October 2, 1914 in Virginia the daughter of the late Walter and Ann Tate Miller. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Elementary School where she taught 3rd grade for 40 years, a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors are: one niece; Mrs. Julianne Harris of Rt. #3 Brodhead. One great niece; Robynne Parkerson of Brodhead. One great nephew; Toby Harris of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by: her husband; Bobby Chrisman, and by one sister; Dorothy M. Craig.
