Kenneth S. Coffey

Kenneth S. Coffey 75, of Franklin Township, went to be with his Lord peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2004, at his home.

Kenneth was born June 16, 1929, the son of Samuel and Mollie (Owens) Coffey. A native of Rockcastle County, Ky., and a retired iron worker of 41 years of Local 290 and McGraw Construction Co. Mr. Coffey was a faithful deacon at the Faith Baptist Church in Franklin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph and Stanley; and two sisters, Lela Mae Woodward and Winnie Cornette.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 54 years, Henrietta; sons Kenneth Allen and his wife, Leslie, of Waukesha, Wis., Stephen of Franklin, David, and his wife, Gretchen, of Germantown, Phillip of Franklin, Robert, and his wife, Brenda, of Franklin; and a daughter Kimberly and her husband, Jerry. Also surviving are 10 loving grandchildren; and two sisters, Daisy Stultz of Hamilton, and Louvada Coffey Morrison of Brookville, Ind.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Baptist Church, 6355 Manchester Road, Franklin, with Pastor Norman Meadows officiating.
