Charity Elizabeth “Lizzie” Gadd was born September 9, 1922 and passed away October 16, 2003 at Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center in Richmond, KY. Lizzie was 81 years old.

She is survived by 4 sons John L. Gadd (wife Opal) of Berea, Billy Gadd (wife Mary) of Mt. Vernon, Robert Gadd (wife Lola) of Richmond, Donald Gadd (wife Kathy) of Berea; one daughter Rosie Elam (husband Ted) f Berea; one son-in-law Clyde Coffey of Berea; two brothers Vernon and Ernest Gadd; two sisters Mary Jane Ramey and Martha Northern; 21 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Casper Gadd; one daughter Betty Coffey, one infant son, her parents and a number of brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the Free Pentecostal Holiness Sanctuary Church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at the Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro. Harold Eads officiating. Burial will follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Holy Sanctuary.

Pallbearers will be Greg Elam, Bobby Gadd, Larry Coffey, Lewis Coffey, Ray Gadd and Kenneth Gadd.
