Mr. Sherman Lee Griffith, age 70 of Glencoe, KY and formerly of Rockcastle County, died Friday, June 25 at his home. He was born in Rockcastle County on Apr. 13, 1934 the son of William and Eliza Hurley Griffith. He was a retired electrical technician for Wadsworth Electric and was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Park Hills, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Yvonna Carpenter Griffith; two sons, Harold Griffith of Glencoe, and Daryle Griffith of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; a daughter, Linda Williams (Gary) of Florence, KY; a sister, Gertrude Cole of Mt. Vernon; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Fred, Lloyd, and Dee Griffith; and two sisters, May Carter and Alma Allen.
