BRODHEAD - Rose Evelyn Holman, 79, of Brodhead died Saturday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born March 23, 1918, she was a daughter of the late James and Josephine Wilson Baker. She was a homemaker and was a member of Brodhead Baptist Church.


Survivors include her husband, Craig Holman; two daughters, Maxine Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., and Clara Faye Hawkins of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Clayton and Richard Baker, both of Crab Orchard; and three sisters, Ella Mae Edwards and Beulah Ball, both of Crab Orchard, and Sue Beth Gourley of Stanford.


The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals by the Revs. Mark Whicker and Dan Guttenson. Burial will in Piney Grove Cemetery.


Pallbearers will be Mark, Steve and Jonathan Johnson; Kenny Ball; Michael Hawkins and Ralph Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom and Johnny Holman, Johnny Wilcop, Paul Cox, Delbert Hawkins Sr. and Doug Barnett.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today.
