Mary Pearl McKinney, fondly known as "PUG" age 73, wife of Bob, of Somerset, Ky. passed away June 23, 2004 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.

She was born August 28, 1930 in Russell Springs, Ky., a daughter of the late Robert Logan and Bessie Ann Mills Absher. She was a member of the Protestant faith. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies and special interest were housework, her children and grandchildren.

On June 21, 1947 she was united in holy matrimony to Bob J. McKinney and from that union came four children- Bobby Dale, James Allen, Audie Wayne and Marilyn Ann.

Those left to mourn her passing include her husband, Bob J. Mckinney of Somerset, Ky.; her children-Bobby Dale McKinney and wife Patty of St. Louis, MO; James Allen McKinney and wife Linda Gail of Reading, Ohio; Audie Wayne McKinney of Mt. Healthy, Ohio and Marilyn Ann Henize and husband James of Milford, Ohio. Ten grandchildren-Michael Robert McKinney and wife Becky of Williamsburg, Ohio; ChaL'Le Rebecca Luneack and husband Eric of Batavia, Ohio; Timothy James McKinney and wife Anna of Somerset, Ky; Brandy Danielle Reppert and husband Marcus of Sharonville, Ohio; Ashley Elizabeth McKinney of Reading, Ohio; William Christopher McKinney and wife Katie of Mt. Healthy, Ohio; Nicole Christina Bach and husband Robb of Mt. Healthy, Ohio; Candace Christine McKinney of Mt. Healthy, Ohio; Junell Ann Gertz and husband Chris of Mt. Washington, Ohio; Jessica Ann Henize of Finneytown, Ohio; Ten great grandchildren;

A brother-Ottis "Sam" Absher and wife Rita of Peebles, Ohio. As well as a host of friends/neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-Helen Absher, and two brothers-Robert Allen and Orville Lee Absher.

Visitation for Mrs. McKinney will Saturday June 26, 2004 from 12N-2PM and services will begin at 2PM, Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Ky. with Marcus Reppert officiating; burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery . Memorials to the Alzheimers Association.
