Mr. Joel Elihu Newcomb, 23 of Route #2 Livingston died Friday March 5, 2004 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington the result of an automobile accident. He was born on September 1, 1980 in Fayette County the son of Farley Newcomb Sr. of Rt. #2 Livingston and Deanna Mink of Rt. #1 Brodhead. He was a logger, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and attended the Church of God.

Survivors besides his parents are: His fiancee; Bridgette Payne of Rt. #2 Livingston. One son; Joel Andrew Newcomb and one daughter; Samantha Jo Newcomb both at home. Two brothers; Farley Newcomb Jr. of Berea, Ky. and Eldon Newcomb of Rt. #2 Livingston. Four sisters; Julia Renee (Joey) Croucher of Rt. #3 Crab Orchard, Angie (Jason) Medley of Maretburg, Tabatha and Allison Newcomb both of Rt. #2 Livingston.
