CRAB ORCHARD - Services
for Myrtle Bailey Petrey, 78, of Georgetown, formerly of Lincoln County, were
scheduled for 1 p.m. today at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
Roger Stevens. Burial will be in Negro Creek Cemetery, Brodhead. She died Friday
at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born Sept. 8, 1921, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Delver "Doc" and Mary Brock
Bailey. She was the widow of James H. Petrey. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include six
sons, Delver, James, Billy and Denver Petrey, all of Crab Orchard, Ansel Petrey
of Nicholasville, and Stanley Petrey of Georgetown; five daughters, Wanda Foley
and Nancy Hendrickson, both of Crab Orchard, Bonnie Genton of Indiana, Doris
Denny of Lawrenceburg and Betty Sue Miller of Georgetown; three stepsons,
Wallace and Curtis Petrey of Wakemon, Ohio, and Robert Petrey of Texas; a
stepdaughter, Detie M. Brock of Stanford; five sisters, Edna Plummer and Dorothy
Denney, both of Crab Orchard, Betty Johnson, Faye Wiegand and Sue Wilson, all of
Amherst, Ohio; 39 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two
Pallbearers will be Travis Miller, Stan Petrey, Ricky Foley, Den Petrey, Everett Petrey and Freeman Denny Jr.
