Mrs. Ona Mae Prewitt, age 85 of London and formerly of Rockcastle County, died Thursday, Apr. 1 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Rockcastle County on Feb. 19, 1919 the daughter of Eugene and Minnie Doan Bradley. She was a retired seamstress for Pogues Textile Co. and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in London.
She is survived by four sons, Billy Joe Ramsey (Barbara) of London, Bennie Ramsey (Jan) of Bulington, Mike Ramsey (Patti) of Union, and Sherman Ramsey (Teresa) of Louisville; three daughters, Bessie Hansel (Bobby) of West Chester, OH, Betty Lou Fain (Jimmy) of Independence, and Dessie Shelton (Billy) of Crab Orchard; four brothers, Bud Bradley, Tennie Bradley, and Coy Bradley, all of Mt. Vernon, and Tommy Bradley of Nicholasville; and one sister, Geneva Whitaker of Radcliff. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ramsey; and two sons, Kenneth Ramsey and Marvin Ramsey.
