Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth Renner age 57, of Mt. Vernon died Friday September 12, 2003 at her home after a long illness. She was born on April 1, 1946 in Rockcastle County the daughter of Mrs. Thelma Cottengim Renner of Mt. Vernon, and the late Raymond Renner. She was a retired environmentalist at the Rockcastle Hospital, enjoyed her grandchildren, and was a member of the Pine Hill Holiness Church.
Survivors besides her mother are: one daughter; Mrs. Jennifer Houk of Mt. Vernon. Two brothers; James Renner of Forest Park, Oh., and Kenneth Renner of West Chester, Oh.. Six sisters; Mrs. Naomi Gibson of Lockland, Oh., Mrs. Irene Burdine of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Lela Sturgill of Shephardsville, Ky., Mrs. Evelyn Reynolds of East Bernstadt, Mrs. Della Hedge, and Miss. Mildred Renner both of Mt. Vernon. Three grandchildren; Jacob, Justin, and Anthony Houk, and several nieces and nephews also survive. | |
