4-16-1988: Walter Renner died. Rockcastle County, Kentucky news article, "Mount Vernon Signal," obit dated 4-21-1988, follows; Walter Renner, 71, of Willailla died April 16, 1988 at the Rockcastle Hospitalof an heart attack. He was born on March 8, 1917 in Rockcastle County,the son of the late J.T. and Deliah Bussell Renner. He was a retired machinist for the General Electric Company in Cinti., Ohio, and was a member of the Providence Church of Christ. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs.Vernus Herron Renner of Willailla; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Renner Seibert and Mrs. Yevette Renner Jessen, both of Cinti., Ohio; a brother, Floyd Renner of Cinti., Ohio; six sisters, Mrs. Sibyl Johnson, and Mrs. Flossie Bynum, both of Panama City, Fla., Mrs. Thelma Pohl of Lady Lake, Fla., Ms. Ruby Renner, Mrs. Rissie Anderson, and Mrs. Hazel Taylor all of Cinti., Ohio and two grandchildren. Services were held April 19 at the Cox Funeral Home ChapeI with Bro. Austin Mobley officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers were Phil Seibert, Greg Jessen, Carl Herron, Everett Hasty, Oakley Cromer and Don Thompson. |
