15 May 1999 MOUNT VERNON - Wilse
Renner, 85, of School Street, Mount Vernon, died Saturday at Rockcastle
Hospital. Born April 22, 1914, in
Rockcastle County, he was a son of the late Hampton and Ola Hood Renner. He was
a self-employed gun trader, a member of the National Rifle Association, and Gun
Traders of America, and also was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include two
sons, Johnnie Renner of Danville and Vernon Dee Renner of Mount Vernon; four
daughters, Retha Cramer, Clarice Kirby and Cindy Cook, all of Mount Vernon, and
Leeona Pelley of Perryville; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was
the widower of Cora Lee Graves Renner. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel by James Nicely. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery. |
