Jessica L. Tyra-Cline

RICHMOND, Ind. -- Former Richmond resident Jessica Lynn Tyra-Cline, age 40, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Las Vegas, Nev.

Born in Richmond, Ind., Nov. 21, 1963, she was the daughter of Michael and Phyllis Tyra and had lived in this area most of her life. She attended Richmond High School and graduated from college in San Antonio, Texas.

Survivors include her mother, Phyllis Tyra, Richmond, Ind.; her father and stepmother, Michael and Judy Tyra, Richmond, Ind.; her husband, Barney Cline, Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Chris Cline, Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Gina Owens, Tampa, Fla., and Stephanie Casper, Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Jeff Pierce, Richmond, Ind.; grandfather, Clyde Grimes, Livingston, Ky.; aunts and uncles, Margie and Mike Sweet and Larry and Phyllis Tyra; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Pierce, and her grandparents, Ruth Grimes and Jesse B. and Florence Tyra.

Services for Jessica Lynn Tyra-Cline will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, with Rev. Lester Maples officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
