James and Elizabeth Butler were in early NC as a dau, Sally born 1776 (I am guessing born NC)  married a Thompson 
or Thomason in Scott Co. Nancy born 1779(again I am guessing NC) married aTilford/Telford possibly in Scott Co.,
Thomas born 1780 for sure NC married Sally Short(born in Sussex Co.,DE) dau of Eli abt 1803 possibly in Scott Co.,
James born 1782 NC (for sure) married Margaret Manlove 5 Oct 1803 possibly in Scott,Jane born 1786 (I am guessing 
Fayette as Scott was not a Co. yet) married Purnell Short abt 1807 possibly Scott Co(Jane died in Scott Co abt 1823)
John born 1788 (I am saying Fayette again) married Bathsheba Griffin(born in Sussex Co.,De),Mary born 10 Sept 1790 
(Woodford?) and Elizabeth born 4 June 1795 Scott Co..

Can anyone help me with this family. Some of them, especially the three sons moved on to Jennings Co.,In..
