I have only the 1950 census to go off of and am not quite sure that is the right Nathaniel Davis, though the names and the birth dates are 
fairly correct, though not exact. A few things seem right such as names of brothers being carried over to sons, etc.
Anyway, I am looking for Nathaniel B. Davis who lived in Fayette, Co, Franklin, Co and apparently in 1850 in Scott, Co. My Great Grandfather 
John Jeremiah Davis listed his birth place as Frankfort, KY in 1847, as did his sister Sallie M., in 1843, or 1845 she is also listed sometimes 
as Sarah M.
As you know, records before 1850 are not detailed enough to know if older siblings were born by 1840.
This has been a stumbling block for a long time. I am trying to find out who Nathaniel B. Davis' father was. All I know is Nathaniel in his 
records claims that his father was born in Kentucky and his mother was born in Kentucky. I have searched for years on the web to discover 
this information. James H. Davis might have been born in Scott, Co in 1857.
Nathaniel was married to Elizabeth Francis Adams in 1838 in Lexington, but I can find no record of that either.
