| Moore, Samuel from commissioner Robert Risk Whereas the Scott Circuit Court by a decree rendered in the case of Robert Risk against Crawford Moore decreed and ordered a sale of the land mentioned in the deed of Trust filed in the papers of said suit, I herein after described and appointed the said Risk commissioner as aforesaid in obedience to said decree and after having duly advertised the time, place and terms of said sale decreed as aforsaid as directed by said decree did on the 4th day of April 1843 on the premises offer the said tract of land in said deed of trust described for sale to the highest bidder, according to the terms and directions of said decree subject to the lien of P. Leathus executor when Samuel Moore of Woodford County KY became a bidder and bid the sum of twenty four hundred and fifty 25/100 dollars which being the highest and best bid therefore and no one offering to give any more the same was knocked off to him. Said Samuel Moore who complied with the terms of said sale and has since that time fully paid the purchase money thereof. Now therefore this Indenture made and entered into this full day of September 1845 between the said Robert Risk Trustee of Crawford Moore and commissioner of the Scott Circuit Court appointed by said court to carry into effect the decree rendered in the case of Robert Risk against Crawford Moore and also to convey said land to the purchaseing thereof party of the first part and Samuel Moore of Woodford County Kentucky of the second part witnesseth that the said Risk Trustee _________ him thereby vested and in consideration of the sum of Twenty four hundred and fifty dollars and twenty five cents to him paid by said Samuel Moore the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged in full of the purchase mony of said land doth grant, bargain, sell, and convey to the said Samuel Moore the aforementioned tract or parcel of land lying in Scott County KY on the waters of Lanes Run containing one hundred and sixty two acres be the same more or less, being the same conveyed by Alfred D. Offutt to said Crawford Moore, Harvey Moore and Scott Moore and two undivided thirds thereof were afterwards conveyed to said Crawford by the said Harvey and Scott Moore which deeds of conveyance were recorded in the Scott County Court Clerks office and reference is hereby had and made to them as well as to said deed of Trust for a more particular description thereof. To have and to Hold the above described tract of land with all the appendenancies? thereto to him the said Samuel Moore and his heirs forever. And the said Risk Trustee and commissioner as aforesaid by virtue of the power in him vested as aforesaid doth and will forever warrant and defend the title to said land to him the said Samuel Moore and his heirs forever against all claims whatever so far as he is empowered and authorised by virtue of the premises but the said Risk is in no event to be peraonally and individually responsible.
