From: "Barb Brown" Date: Thursday, August 10, 2006 3:28 PM I thought that Hedgeman Triplett might live at Forks of Elkhorn since I received info from a man who said that he had seen Hedgeman's name on a "slave owners" list in Woodford Co. I know that the Triplett's in my descendency lived in Franklin Co. but are listed in a book by a Duvall who has them attending the Forks of Elkhorn Church and it must be in Woodford Co. I'm grasping at straws. I've been at this for so many yrs. and no one can tell me where the family lived. Hedgeman died and was buried in Franklin Co. His wife, Margaret (Peggy) Eddins then left with three of the boys and headed for Missouri and she died there in Triplett, Mo. (where I'm from as my gggrandfather J.E.M. Triplett(2nd son of Hedgeman, Jr. ) founded the town) one year later. I also cannot find where she is buried. Hedgeman, Jr. married to Margaret Eddins died in 1845. Anything that you might find would be helpful. Thanks, Barbara Triplett-Brown
