The marriage bond does not include any further information than what is already known. It is believed that John Warren's parents were a William Warren and either Mary Jane Yates or Maria Watkins Fauntleroy. I tend to lean toward William Monroe Warren as John's father with very little to go on. I have been unable to locate the children of William Monroe Warren through other family members or research thus far. The Warren Family I am researching came from England, to Charles County Maryland, to Spotsylvania Virginia to Woodford (Georgetown) KY. The Warren's then moved on to Clay County MO and Worth County MO which is where my research is very good. Some of the information I have found on Woodford and Scott Genealogy forums show a William B. (possibly Barton). I did see some information where a William Warren was a successful lawyer and appeared to be married to Maria Watkins Fauntleroy which may make that William Monroe Warren. Several cousins are working on this same problem and we have all come up with theory but no facts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very fortunate that here in Houston TX we have a wonderful Genealogy library, part of the Harris County Library System and it is called Clayton Library so far being a novice, I haven't gotten much further on solving this mystery.
