Marriage of Edward Tyson and Margaret Smith

 

Know all men by these present that we Edward Tyson and Richard Smith  are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of fifty pounds to the payment of which will and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs Executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these present Sealed with our Seals and Dated this 21st  day of October 1851 The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Edward Tyson and Margaret Smith     Now should there be no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue
