James Edna Saunders, was the first child of Allen Jones Saunders and Louzena
Robertson of Adair County.  After Louzena died giving birth to her 4th
child in 1896,  Jones Saunders brought his 3 surviving children back to
Kentucky, married Ermine Catherine Lane and raised 5 more children in
Taylor County.

Louzena Robertson Saunders, daughter of  Delaney Robertson and Nancy Ellen Hendrickson.  Louzena's
mother died when she was about 6.  She and her sister, Exura, were
raised by their stepmother, Harriet Foster Ingram.  She and Delaney
Robertson had 11 more children.
