Adair County Vital Statistic Records, 1893 ‑ 1894 ‑‑ Deaths

The header card  for the two microfilmed pages from which these transcriptions were done states the records are for 1893 & 1894, and each death is noted as having occurred in one of those two years. Notation at the top of each page of the two pages, however, states that the deaths occurred in 1895. With two  exceptions (two of the three Eliza Sherrill/Sherrell entries), the deaths are transcribed in the same order in which they appear in the original records.

The sequence of information for each entry is as follows: Name, color, age, gender, marital status (omitted for children), occupation (if given), death date, cause of death, place of birth, residence, & death, and names & birthplace(s) of parents.

Underlining indicates transcribe words & names are as found in the original document; question marks indicate uncertain interpretation; information in  bracketed italics comes from other sources.
