DEATH AT KNIFLEY
Of Mrs. Ben F. Tupman, Last Monday,
Evening, December 24th.
After many years of patient suffering, Mrs. B.F. Tupman, nee Miss Ann
Thomas, of the Knifley community, passed to her final reward last Monday
evening.
The deceased was about 50 years of age and a wife of Mr. Ben F. Tupman,
a prosperous farmer of the Green River country...
The interment was in the family cemetery, witnessed by a large concourse
of sorrowing friends.
The heart broken husband has the sympathy of the entire community.

In Memoriam
Died, December 24, 1906, Mrs. Mary A. Tupman, wife of Mr. Ben F. Tupman,
and a daughter of Mr. Nicholas and Mrs. Mary A. Thomas, the latter
preceding her to the grave many years ago. She lived with her stepmother
until eight months ago, when she married Mr. Tupman.
The deceased was born in Adair county, united with the Christian church
in early girlhood and lived a true Christian life... She told her loved
ones that the future looked bright for her and prayed for the hour when
death would relieve her sufferings...
The funeral services were conducted by Eld. Z.T. Williams and the
remains laid to rest in Egypt cemetery.
