Adair County News, September 7, 1904 Mrs. Mattie Coffey, wife of Mr. Pink Coffey, whose home was near Joppa, died last Friday morning [September 2nd] from consumption. Mrs. Coffey was an excellent Christian lady and her death is sincerely regretted by the entire neighborhood who deeply sympathize with the bereaved husband.
Adair County News, May 24, 1905 Mr. Pink Coffey, whose home was near Montpelier, and whose serious illness has been frequently mentioned in this paper, died last Friday night. He was about 27 years old and was a good citizen. He was a victim of pulmonary trouble. |
