As it was appointed once for man to die In the name of god Amen This is my last will and Testament It is my Will that my Beloved wife Catherine L Banks to all my personal and real Estate after all my Just debts are paid and Should their not be enough of Stock and other loose property to pay any debts I wish my black Boy George sold and that my Belove wife Catharine L Banks to give to her children as She Sees proper

It is my will that my Son Martin W Bank to stay with his mother to assist her with her family and he shall Be entitled to twice as much as any one of my children and it is further my will the Martin W. Banks and John W Banks to attend and Settle all my Business In testimony I have set my hand and seal this 10th December 1852

An Instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of Clement P Banks decd was this day produced in open Court and proven by the Oath of James W Davis and John Edrington two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of John W Banks and Martin W Banks the Executors named in the last Will and Testament of Clement P Banks decd the Execution thereof is granted them they having the oath required By law and entered into an obligation to the Commonwealth of Kentucky with Aaron H Rice John Edrington Benjamin Grant Hiram Cofer and James W Davis their Sureties conditioned as the law directs.
