Last Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, Mr. P.H. Zerebaugh was married to Miss Susie Pelly at the home of the bride, Eld. John Rice, of Watson, officiating. Mr. Zerbaugh is a fine business man and has many noble traits of character. Miss Pelly is the beautiful daughter of Mr. J.H. [sic] Pelly and will be missed very much by the young society people. Mr. and Mrs. Zerbaugh leaves this week for Indiana, their future home.

P.H. Zearbaugh Dead
The subject of this notice was a native of Indiana, but had been in business in Adair county for quite a number of years. He resided in the eastern portion of the county, and short time ago he returned home from a trip to Indiana and it was not long until he was stricken with typhoid fever, dying last Saturday night [November 26th]. He was about fifty years old and was a good citizen. He leaves a wife and several children. The remains were shipped to his old home in Indiana.

Mr. P.H. Zearbough, whose death was reported in last week's News, was a kind-hearted man. He leaves a wife and two children. The remains were taken to Portland, Ind., where they were laid to rest in the family burying ground. This entire neighborhood extends sympathy to the bereaved family.

Tennessee and Adair
On Tuesday, the 21st. ult. [Dec. 21st, 1909], Mr. J.M. Hill, of LaFallette, Tenn., and Mrs. Susie Zearbaugh, of Pellyton, this county, were married in Campbellsville and left immediately for the home of the groom. Mr. Hill is an attorney for the well-known Wyburg & Hanna Lumber Company, and is a gentleman who stands high socially and professionally. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.K. Pelly, and was one of Adair county's best women. He first husband, who was a lumber dealer, died five or six years ago.
