Lewis and little son, Jessie, of Fairplay, are visiting near here. a Paul Marshall was in from camp on a furlough during the holidays. a Finis Strange and family of Rugby were visiting relatives here last week. a Mrs. Sallie Blair who has been in a very low state of health for some time, is no better at this writing. a James Marshall who has been in a sanitorium in Ohio, for a few weeks returned home a few days ago, very much improved in health. a Henry Hudson and family were visiting relatives at Columbia during the holdiays. a Joe B. Morgan and family spent a few days on Crocus last week. a Two little sons of Mr. and Mrs. Finnis Blakey, of Jamestown, were visiting their grandmother, Mrs. Annie B. Brockman, a few days ago. a Frank Strange sold his crop of dark tobacco to Ed Young of Burkesville, for 12 and 15 cents. a I.F. Andrew purchased a cow of Henry Hudson, price $60. a Born, to the wife of Dr. B.J. Bolin, this place, a son. [Ralph B. Bolin was born to Dr. B.J. & Carrie Bradshaw Bolin on December 9, 1918.] a Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Blair was visiting here the latter's father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Guinn Bradshaw of Montpelier, last week. a Henry Hudson purchased of Joh Kelsay a pair of mules for a fancy price. a Vander Collins was at his father's, Mr. George Collins, who lives near this place, during the holidays. a Crisman Powell who has been in Illinois, is at home. a Tandy Thomas was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Hesring Traylor at Breeding, last week. |
