A Double Hanging in Columbia - 1884

The following newspaper articles were submitted by Morris Shepherd and document the double hanging of Rude and Champ Fitzpatrick on March 22, 1884. The pair were executed after being accused of the murder of Miller Brewster. This account came originally from the Campbellsville News. (from a reprint of The Kentucky Explorer, February 1987).
