Last Will & Testament of
William Carpenter
Know all men by these presents that I
WILLIAM CARPENTER do bequeath my soul to
god. who gave it and after
all my just debt are paid it is my will and desire
that my wife MARY CARPENTER ;have
all my real and
personal estate and after decease it is my will and
desire that my Grandson William H. Walker
have all that
my wife MARY CARPENTER leave. I
have given all my children all that I ever intend to
give them. In witness
where of I have set my hand and cause my seal the
22nd day of August 1835.

Adiar at the Courthouse in Columbia on Monday
November
2nd 1835 This last will and testament of William
Carpenter dec'd was this day produced in Open Court
and proven by
the oats of Wesley Grider and William Brockman two
of the subscribing witnesses there to be the last
will and testament
of the said dec'd Ordered to be recorded

I Tandy Moore of Adair County and
State of Kentucky do hereby make this my last will
and testament in manner
and form following, to wit, I do hereby give and
bequeath unto my wife SALLY all
that ia am now
prossessed of both real and personal includeing all
debts and demands to be hers forever, to dispose of
in
any way she may think proper as her own property.
In testimony whereof at I have here unto set my hand
and seal this 6 day of October 1835 Tandy Moore
