Griffin/Adams: Presently, I am looking for two former slaves ( Richard Griffin / Jane Adams Griffin ) of my family that lived there in Ballard County (Barlow) many generations ago. I have visited there ( Ballard County ) a few times but I have left there with very little information. Just my luck most of the records were burned up years ago. However, I was able to find a Great Uncle of mine buried in the Henderson Cemetery.
For the cemetery records on your site, I have some family information that I hope someone will see and find a way to contact me. All of these relatives were buried in the Henderson Cemetery. My information comes from Ancestry.com where I read the death certificates from the Kentucky Death Index and this information backed up stories that were told to my father when he was young concerning where our Griffin relatives were buried. Again, I visted there and couldn't find them but at least I know where they are.
Hopefully someone related to me will see your site and try and contact me. Please feel free to use my email if you run across information or someone who may have information reference my family.
