Pati, your new version is a vast improvement over my effort. We're really making some progess on this! What would you think of making the bochure so that it's a single folded sheet? We would print it on glossy stock, front and back. It would have in effect, a cover, a center fold-out, and a back. Pages 2 and 3 (the "fold out center") would kind of flow togather, but pages 1 and 4 would each be exactly one half of a sheet wide. Page 1 could use the titling used on the PDF page 1, but with a photo of the Train Depot Pages 2-3 would be 3 columns, with the fold down the center of the middle column. Columns 1 and 2 would be the "Tygart Valley Trail" text. Column 3 would be the "What Will our Trail Look Like" photos and text: (1) Inez, (2) Seniors on the trail and (3) Trail lined with trees Page 4 could be the "Swinging Bridge" photo at the top of the page, wiht the "Progress on the Trail - Easments" text below it. Somewhere in the brochure we should have your name and telephone number, and perhaps a reference to the Kentucky Rails to Trails Council (or whichever state level organization is giving us the most help) and a list of donors and funders of our project. We may have to sacrifice a photo in order to get all our text in. When printed, one side of the paper would be pages 1 and 4, the other side, pages 2 and 3. I think it's important that we use recycled paper and have the "Recycled" logo prominently printed on the brochure. We could start with a brochure printed on letter size paper, and increase the size of the paper as we need more space. Going to more than four pages would mean we would need some way of binding the brochure (eg. staples). I think a single sheet is a good place to start. I will contact the web sites where I got the trails photos to let them know we plane to use them in our brochure. I'm sure they will be excited when they hear what we are planning.
