My grandmother was Eva S. (Bayes) Hicks, w/o Alfred VanHoose. I am the son of Jesse C. Hicks and Sara Lou (Vanhoose) Hicks , d/o Alfred and Eva VanHoose.

I have a brother, James Alfred Hicks, and a sister, Helen Beth Hicks, both are buried in unmarked graves in the VanHoose cemetery.
Both died in 1938 within about 3 months of my birth on October 6, 1938.
