Collingworth CEMETERY, CARTER COUNTY, KENTUCKY

Submitted by Ken Reeder

"I visited the Collingworth Cemetery on 6 Sept 1999, the day after the Flat Fork reunion (REEDER, MASTERS, HAM, ETC.).

The condition of the burial sites, in a wooded, hillside pasture is not good.
The stones are all laying flat and are broken.
There were stones that I could not read, and no doubt, unmarked graves.

Go west out of Olive Hill, turn north to go past Earnest Masters house, 465 State Highway 1662, go past the road to the
Master's homestead - abt # 1860 - where the Collingworth Cemetery is located - continue to Flat Fork Church and cemetery.
The family reunion is held at the church pavilion the Sunday before Labor Day each year - since the 1920's at least."
There is no ‘S’ in COLLINGWORTH."
