The Alfred A. Underwood is none other than the son of George W. Underwood.
He and his brother Jessie were two of the main participants in the Underwood-Holbrook Feud.

Alfred is considered by some family historians to have been the brains behind the family.
He was at least smart enough to move on before the final battles were fought.
He and his wife Malinda (a cousin) and their family were in Ringgold, Iowa in the 1880 census and Sheridan, Wyoming by 1900.

His son Edward was apparently known as Beverly in the earlier census records. The cemetery records show his place of birth as "Greyson, Ky.".

The Mrs. Underwood is probably Malinda Underwood, wife of Albert, but this would need to be confirmed from other records.
