Archibald served in the 22th Ky Vol Inf Co B enlisted 9 Nov 1861 to 20 Jan 1865.
He married Rebecca Carroll on 5 Mar 1869.

Rebecca was the daughter of Daniel Carroll and Serena Sparks.

Arch died 9 Apr 1881 and Rebecca died 14 Aug 1888. They had another son Willie who died 15 June 1875.
