Powers of Attoney, July 9, 1910

July 9, 1910   Carter Co., Ky.        

On motion, Wash Baker, is hereby appointed administrator of the Personal Property of James Baker, 
deceased and his bond fixed at  $800.00 which he entered into with W.H. Scott 
and C.C. Hughes, as sureties.          

On motion, Wash Baker, is hereby appointed Guardian of Wash Baker, Rebecca Baker and Dan Baker, infants 
over 14 years of age and Martha Baker and Arlie Baker, infants under 14 
years of age and required to file bond in the sum of $800.00 for 
faithful performance of his duty.          

On motion of Wash Baker, John York, Charles Erwin and James Stamper  are hereby appointed appraisers of 
the personal property of James Baker, deceased.          

Power of Attorney          
Know all men by these presents that I, W.H. Scott of Olive 
Hill, Carter Co., Kentucky, do hereby make, constitute and appoint J.E. 
McDavid of Grayson, Carter County, Kentucky, my true and lawful 
attorney in fact for me and in my stead to sign my name as security to the 
bond of Wash Baker as Guardian of Wash Baker aged 19,  Rebecca Baker aged 
16, Dan Baker aged 14  and Martha Baker and Arlie Baker both aged 12 
years and to also sign my name as security to the bond of the said Wash 
Baker, as administrator of James Baker, deceased and also as 
administrator of Rachel Baker, deceased and his acts in signing my name to all 
three of said bonds as surety there on shall be as binding on me as if I 
was present in person and signed the same myself and I hereby ratify and 
confirm all that. My said attorney may do for me,  under and by virtue 
of this Power of Attorney.
