Emily James - unidentified, possibly a daughter or daughter-in-law. On this same date, Emily receives 68 acres under deed Book 7, Page 627

619 (Book 6) This indenture made and entered into this 11th day of February 1856 by and between Zackariah Tyree Commissioner appointed by the Carter County Court at the December term 1855 to make deeds the heirs of George James deceased according to the division of lands as represented by Commissioner and ??? James, Mary Vanlandingham Margaret James Emily James of he first part and Amanda James of the second part all of the County of Carter and State of Kentucky Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the promises aforesaid the party of the first part hath this day bargained sold aliened and conveyed to the party of the second part all that that tract of land lying and being in Carter County Kentucky and on the waters of Tygart's Creek Bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at three dogwoods gum and chestnut Carter of ???? N 55 E 89 poles to a white oak & hickory a corner of A. James survey S 3 W 118 poles to a stake in A. James line N 1 W 61 poles to two white oaks N 6 1/2 W 30 poles to north side of the State Road. S 87 W 61 poles to line of Cty. Rd.(?) S 23 E 116 poles to the beginning. Containing sixty three acres it being Lot A6 to have and to hold unto her the party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns forever as her portion of the real estate of George James deceased divided and set apart to her by Commissioners appointed for that
