Rememberances of Dorothy Nadine (Lewis) McBrayer.

"My mother talked so much about her "growing up" years. I recorded some of her stories and some I remember. I am collecting these things in a family history. My mother always spoke about the Blue Goose with a twinkle in her eyes.

There is a picture of a girl (I don't know who the girl is) standing on the tracks at Leon.

The house in the photo is the house where she was born and it is still there.

My mother was born 1911 in the house on the precipices over looking the town of Leon. The house sits on the hill across from the Leon Christian church, up the road passed where Kitchen's store was. Her parents were Archie (A.M.) Lewis and Dorothy (Williams) Lewis."
