Mac Giolla Eoin

The Irish Embassy at Governor Gardens, London, England, shows the name McGlone as the Gaelic "Mac Giolla Eoin" and means "Son of the Servant of St. John."

It is a scattered Ulster name found chiefly in Donegal and Tyrone.
