"1755 Pierre Pouchot Map"

This map suffers from the French desire to give their own naes to map features.

At the bottom of the map, "Rapid doux" may be the Falls of the Ohio (Louisville, Ky.)

Working our way east, "F. du Quesne"appears to be in the area of the Big Bend of the Ohio River.

The major river entering the Ohio River from the south may be the Big Sandy. "Combat de Brandok" may be a significant hint.
