1875 Cram Map

Note the route northeast from Grayson through Hunnewell, Argilite to "Beaverton" (now Flatwoods). 
This route probably connected the Grayson travelor to a ferry across the Ohio River to Ironton, Ohio.
Nothing left of that old route except back country roads through the hills.

Olive Hill is placed somewhat mysteriously on the south side of Tygart's Creek,
and the community of Upper Tygart is prominently noted.
