Mr. Frank Powers and bride were registered at the Biggs House yesterday. Mr. Powers, the popular General Agent of the Eastern 
Kentucky Railroad, was married at Grayson, Ky., last Wednesday, to Miss Juliet, the accomplished daughter of the late Dr. A. J. Lansdowne, of Carter 
County. Mr. Powers is the son of E. Powers, Jr., of Wheelersburg, and he and his bride visited their friends in that vicinity last Thursday. The 
happy pair leave this morning on a tour to Lake Chatauqua and other points. Frank has, and deserves, a host of friends not only at his old home in 
Scioto, but on both sides of the river, and we join them in wishing him and his Kentucky bride the truest and best of life-s generous stores.
