Samuel Colegrove Civil War Discharge

To all whom it may Concern:

 

Know ye, That Samuel Colegrove a Private of Captain John S. Godman’s Company (B) 22nd Regiment of Kentucky Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the Ninth day of November one thousand eight hundred and Sixty-one to serve Three years or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States this Twentieth day of January 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky by reason of Expiration of Term of Service.  (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)

 

            Said Samuel Colegrove was born in Greenup County in the State of Kentucky, is 20 years of age, Five foot 10 inches high, Light complexion, Blue eyes, Light hair, and by occupation when enrolled a Farmer.

 

            Given at Louisville, Ky., this Twentieth day of January 1865.
