Glen Adkins - 1919-2006

Glen Adkins, 87, of Grayson, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 28, 1919, in Grayson, a son of the late Neb and Addie Prichard Adkins.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Hearne.
He was the husband of Ada Stamper Adkins of Grayson.
Mr. Adkins served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired after 30 years as an economics teacher in Baltimore, Md.
He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Janet Rusk, of Grayson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by John Dean. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.
