Services for Mrs. Lena F. Alexander, 84 of the Arlington Nursing Home, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander died Wednesday in the nursing home where she had been a resident since 1960. She was born Aug. 10, 1879, in Olive Hill, Ky.
Mrs. Alexander moved to Newark from Chesapeake, Ohio five years ago.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Pearl Colgrove (possible Colegrove) of Grayson, Ky. and Mrs. Lanty Garvin of Olive Hill, Ky.,
one son, William Alexander of Collinsville, Ill; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
