OBIT - Johnny Lee Bellew, 59, of Grayson, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at his home. Mr. Bellew was born May 5, 1943, in Carter County, a son of the late Robert and Hazel Houck Bellew. He was a brick mason and a member of Ohio-Kentucky Brick Masons' Local No. 7. He also was a member of the Myrtle Tree Baptist Church and a former member of the Happy Hookers bass fishing club. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bush Bellew; two sons, Terry Bellew and John D. Bellew, both of Grayson; two daughters, Kimberly Johnston of Grayson and Brandy Shirley of Yawkey, W. Va.; two stepdaughters, Wendi Horton and Candi Kouns, both of Grayson; a stepson, Mark Kouns of Grayson; three sisters, Shelby Gilbert and Margie Jones, both of Grayson, and Betty Estepp of Toledo, Ohio; a brother, Glen Bellew of Grayson; and nine grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Katie, Kerry, Maggie, Jacob, Corey, Chris and Caleb. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bellew was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "June" Bellew and James Lowell Bellew. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. Kenneth Cade will officiate. Burial will be in Grayson Memorial Park.
