Kentucky GenWeb project03/03/2005 Joann Schwartz, 57, of Millbury, and formerly of East Toledo, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on January 21, 1948, she was the daughter of Cecil and Stella (Haywood) Binion. Joann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She liked sewing, quilting and bowling in her free time. She is survived by Henry C. Schwartz, her husband of 37 years; daughters, Linda (Paul) Gomez Jr., Billie (Charles) Lanz Jr.; sons, Henry "Butch" (Cindy) Schwartz Jr., Matthew (Joy) Schwartz, all of East Toledo; brothers, Cecil Jr. (Sue), Ora Allen, Jeffery and Christopher Binion; sisters, Fern (Jim) Grizell, Mildred Phoebe (James) Hodge, Hattie Grubb, Violet Lilly, Vivian Watson; 9 special grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Joann was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Friends may call at Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Friday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment at Lake Twp. Cemetery will follow. Tributes in Joann's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
